Basic Material Identification
Matt
Most commonly described as your typical office paper. Mostly used for writing and stock Labels.
Semi-Gloss
Semi-Gloss has a slight glossy finnish for a more professional look .
Polyprop
Consist of a Clear Polyprop: A clear polyethylene lm, most commonly described as transparent, and a White Polyprop: Commonly described as a plastic label used for longer lasting and outside use.
Radiants
Consists of 5 Luminous colours
- Dayglow Green
- Dayglow Yellow
- Dayglow Orange
- Dayglow Red
- Dayglow Pink
This material is eye catching and used for promotional and warning labels.
Foamtak & Tamper Evident
These materials are used for security purposes.
- Foamtak: has a foam surface
- Tamper Evident: has a plastic surface
Direct Thermal
Once heat is applied to this material the exposed area will turn to black. This is used in Direct Thermal label printers / scales.
Basic Adhesive Identification
Hotmelt
Highly aggressive & very difcult to remove once applied
Removable
Has a low-tac adhesive with a clean removable adhesive. Mostly used on glass and wood surfaces.
Die Cut or Butt Cut?
But Cut
A singular thin line separating each label with no gap in-between. Also described as a label with square corners. This is usually hand applied.
Die Cut
Plus Minus a 3mm gap between each label as well as both sides, with rounded corners. Die cut labels are used in over printers or machine applied. Any shape die can be made to specication at additional cost. We have a wide variety of shapes and sizes.
